The Alliance of Literary Societies

The ALS is the umbrella organisation for literary societies/groups in the UK. We were formed in 1973 and currently have over one hundred members.

We provide support and advice on a variety of literary subjects, as well as promoting cooperation between member societies.

Are you a literary society/group interested in becoming a member? Click on Joining Us to find out more.

Are you an individual looking for a literary society/group to join? Then click on Member Societies above.

Our President is Aeronwy Thomas; and our Vice Presidents are Bill and Kathleen Adams.

This is the business website for the ALS.  To read more on literary issues, visit our sister site http://www.alllitsoc.org.uk/
